Microsoft Copilot Revolutionizes Coding and Philosophy Applications
Full Transcript
Microsoft has released a new report showing what people used its AI assistant Copilot for in 2025. The analysis is based on thirty-seven point five million de-identified conversations. The report reveals that in addition to productivity, Copilot is utilized for health, relationships, and personalized guidance.
Health inquiries were particularly prevalent on mobile, with users turning to Copilot for tips on exercise, routines, and wellness around the clock. During August, there was a clear pattern of users engaging with Copilot for coding during the week and leisure activities on weekends.
In February, leading up to Valentine's Day, Microsoft observed a surge in conversations about relationships and personal development. The data also indicates that interest in religion and philosophy increased at night, while travel planning predominantly occurred during the day.
Another trend identified is that more users are seeking advice rather than just factual information. Copilot is increasingly being used as a counselor for discussing life decisions and emotions rather than merely as an information tool.
Microsoft states that insights from this report will be used to improve Copilot.
