Starlink has landed another major aviation win with NetJets, the world's largest private jet operator. NetJets has announced a deal to bring Starlink's high-speed satellite internet to roughly 600 aircraft across its global fleet by the end of 2026, with the rollout beginning this month.

The initial installations will occur in the U.S. and Europe on models including Cessna Citation Latitudes, Citation Longitudes, Embraer Praetor 500s, Bombardier Challenger 350 and 650 models, and the full Bombardier Global lineup.

Patrick Gallagher, President of NetJets Aviation, stated that this agreement positions NetJets to continue delivering exceptional travel experiences. Starlink, powered by a constellation of over 9,000 low-Earth-orbit satellites, supports broadband speeds up to 500 Mbps, offering reliable connectivity in remote locations.

This is a significant improvement over legacy in-flight Wi-Fi systems, which often struggle with reliability and latency. Jason Fritch, SpaceX's VP of Starlink Enterprise Sales, highlighted that with Starlink on board, travelers can boost productivity, conduct seamless video calls, stream on demand, and even game as they would on the ground.

This partnership comes amid a wave of aviation momentum for Starlink, which has also secured in-flight Wi-Fi agreements with major airlines including Korean Air, Emirates, and flydubai, along with commitments from British Airways, Qatar Airways, and more.

The expansion of Starlink into premium travel with NetJets indicates a strong lift-off in the commercial aviation sector.
