SpaceX successfully launched 28 Starlink satellites on November 6, 2025, from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 1:13 PM Pacific Standard Time, carrying the satellites as part of the Starlink Group 11-14 mission.

This launch contributed to the total of 2,600 Starlink satellites launched in 2025 alone, bringing the total number of satellites in the Starlink constellation to over 8,800, as reported by Spaceflight Now.

The Falcon 9 rocket utilized the first stage booster designated B1093, which marked its eighth flight. This particular booster has previously supported several other missions including the initial launches for the Space Development Agency's Tranche 1 Transport Layer.

After a successful liftoff, B1093 performed a stage separation and completed its deceleration burns before landing on the drone ship named 'Of Course I Still Love You.' This landing is notable as it represents the 163rd landing on that vessel and the 530th booster landing overall, showcasing SpaceX's commitment to reusability and cost efficiency in space operations, according to Space.com.

Following the launch, the Falcon 9's upper stage continued to transport the 28 satellites to their designated deployment points in low Earth orbit. Approximately one hour after the launch, the satellites were released into orbit, adding to the growing Starlink megaconstellation designed to provide high-speed internet access globally.

This launch marks the 142nd mission for the Falcon 9 rocket this year, with 102 of those missions focused specifically on expanding the Starlink network, highlighting SpaceX's ongoing efforts to enhance global internet connectivity.
