Combat Robotics Showcase Highlights Innovations in Autonomous Technology

A Chinese combat robot, named Deep-Sea Shark 3, achieved victory at the Games of the Future Abu Dhabi 2025, winning the Battle of the Robots title. This event took place on December 17, 2023, as part of a multi-sport festival known for blending physical and digital gaming elements.

The robot, created by a student team called Fierce Roc, triumphed by slamming its competitor into a glass wall of the arena, resulting in a spectacular display of sparks. Fierce Roc advanced to the final after a series of knockout bouts, including a semi-final victory over Team Cobalt from the United States.

Team captain Luo Yuchen emphasized the importance of teamwork and engineering dedication in achieving their success.
