The OnePlus 15 is set to launch globally on November 13, just two weeks after its debut in China on October 27. According to Android Central, this device features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, which promises substantial performance improvements, including up to twenty percent faster CPU performance, twenty-three percent faster GPU performance, and thirty-seven percent faster NPU for AI tasks.

The OnePlus 15 is equipped with a massive seven thousand three hundred milliamp hour battery, supporting eighty watt wired charging and fifty watt wireless charging, making it one of the largest batteries in the Android smartphone market.

In terms of design, the OnePlus 15 sports flat surfaces all around, differing from the previous model, and features a ceramic-like texture achieved by a unique manufacturing process. The phone's display is a six point seventy-eight inch flat OLED with a resolution of twelve seventy-two by twenty-seven seventy-two pixels, offering a peak brightness of one thousand eight hundred nits.

It also includes advanced display features such as DC-like dimming and a high refresh rate of one to one hundred sixty-five hertz. The camera system includes three fifty megapixel sensors, with a main camera using the Sony IMX906 and additional ultrawide and telephoto lenses.

The front-facing camera is a thirty-two megapixel Sony IMX709. OnePlus has also announced preorder bonuses, including a fifty dollar discount on the OnePlus 15 and a chance to win a OnePlus Pad 3. While the Chinese price is around three thousand nine hundred ninety-nine yuan, global pricing is expected to align closer to the OnePlus 13's launch price of around eight hundred ninety-nine dollars.

The phone features the OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16, and will be available at major retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy. Notably, the device retains the Plus Key, a customizable button that replaces the traditional alert slider, allowing users to toggle between sound profiles.

This innovative device is anticipated to be a strong contender in the competitive smartphone market, particularly as a gaming flagship for 2025.
