Innovative Clip-On Controller Brings Game Boy Experience to Android

Gamesir is launching a new mobile game controller called the Pocket 1, which clips onto Android and iOS phones. This vertical controller features Game Boy-style buttons and includes four shoulder buttons, four face buttons, and two additional buttons above Start and Select.

It connects via Bluetooth and operates on a 600mAh battery. The Pocket 1 will be available for purchase starting December 25 at a price of $34.99, with an early bird discount bringing the price down to $29.99.

This innovation provides an affordable way for gamers to experience retro gaming nostalgia, especially with the recent announcement of ANBERNIC's Game Boy-like handheld, the RG 477V, which is expected to be priced over $200.
