Its camera setup includes a 50MP wide and a 13MP ultrawide main camera, plus a front-facing wide-lens selfie camera. A fingerprint reader is integrated into the power key, and the device includes a user-changeable back cover and an RGB indication LED.
Notably, the phone comes with a physical Privacy Switch, allowing users to turn off the microphone, Bluetooth, and Android apps, enhancing privacy features. It will be available in three colors: Snow White, Kaamos Black, and The Orange.
The Jolla Phone ships with Sailfish OS, which supports Android apps and promises a minimum of five years of support without tracking or hidden analytics. The device will be manufactured and sold in Europe, with initial sales targeted at the EU, the UK, Switzerland, and Norway, while the cellular band configuration aims to enable global roaming, including in U.S. carrier networks.
