Resolve AI, a startup founded by former Splunk executives Spiros Xanthos and Mayank Agarwal, has achieved a valuation of $1 billion following a Series A funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.
According to TechCrunch, while the headline valuation is set at $1 billion, the actual blended valuation is lower due to a multi-tranched investment structure, where some equity was purchased at the higher valuation while the remainder was acquired at a lower price.
Resolve AI specializes in developing an autonomous site reliability engineer tool designed to automatically maintain software systems, addressing the increasing complexity of cloud infrastructure and the need for efficient operations.
The startup, which was founded less than two years ago, reported an annual recurring revenue of approximately $4 million and previously raised a $35 million seed round led by Greylock. It also competes with other AI-driven SRE startups in a rapidly growing market, including Traversal, which secured a $48 million Series A round led by Kleiner Perkins.
