Sebastian Aho Leads Hurricanes to Fifth Straight Win Over Predators

Sebastian Aho led the Carolina Hurricanes to their fifth consecutive victory with a standout performance, scoring two goals and providing an assist in a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators on December 17, 2025.

The game took place in Nashville, where Jackson Blake opened the scoring for Carolina in the first period. Aho extended the lead with a power-play goal early in the third period, followed by Seth Jarvis increasing the margin to three goals shortly after.

Filip Forsberg scored for Nashville, but Aho sealed the game with an empty-net goal. The Hurricanes dominated the early stages, outshooting the Predators and holding a strong puck possession game. Although the Predators lost, Juuse Saros made 33 saves, and the team remained competitive, having won seven of their last eleven games.

The Hurricanes’ success was slightly marred by a lower-body injury to Jordan Martinook, who left the game in the second period and did not return. According to Canes Country, Pyotr Kochetkov made 25 saves for Carolina, effectively handling the few chances Nashville created late in the game.
