Commanders Elevate Player from Practice Squad Ahead of Lions Game

The decision to elevate Chosen comes at a time when the Commanders are facing challenges with their wide receiver depth, particularly following Luke McCaffrey's placement on injured reserve due to a broken collarbone sustained during the opening kickoff.

Additionally, star receiver Terry McLaurin is sidelined again after reaggravating a quad injury, and Noah Brown has been out since week two with a groin injury. Despite the pressing need for reinforcements in the receiving corps, the Commanders did not elevate any defensive backs, even with safeties Quan Martin and Tyler Owens listed as questionable due to hamstring injuries.
