As NFL Week 10 approaches, fantasy football players are evaluating key players to optimize their lineups. The Philadelphia Eagles, coming off a bye week, face the Green Bay Packers on Monday night. Tank Bigsby, the backup running back for the Eagles, had a standout game two weeks ago against the Giants, rushing for 104 yards on nine carries after Saquon Barkley left with a minor groin injury. Despite Barkley returning to health, Bigsby has potentially secured a role in the offense, making him a viable Flex option for fantasy players, especially against a Packers defense that has allowed an average of 13.2 fantasy points per game to running backs, according to SB Nation. Although the Packers have had a strong defensive showing, it’s suggested that the Eagles will test Bigsby’s capabilities in this matchup.

On the other side of the field, Luke Musgrave, the Packers' tight end, is stepping into a larger role following Tucker Kraft's season-ending ACL injury. Musgrave recorded a modest three targets for 34 yards last week, but with Kraft out, his target share may increase. However, due to the Packers' committee approach to passing, analysts suggest sitting Musgrave in PPR leagues this week, as it's uncertain how many looks he will receive moving forward.

In a separate matchup featuring the Pittsburgh Steelers and Los Angeles Chargers, Calvin Austin III is being evaluated as a fantasy option. Austin was the Steelers' leading receiver last week with five catches for 56 yards. Despite this, experts recommend sitting him due to the Chargers' strong defensive metrics, allowing only 5.3 net yards per pass attempt.

Conversely, running back Jaret Patterson, who had nine carries for 44 yards last week, is also a consideration for the Chargers. However, with backup running backs struggling against the Steelers this season, he is also advised to be benched for this week. His performance could make him a potential waiver target if he shows promise.

Lastly, in another key matchup, the Detroit Lions take on the Washington Commanders. Jameson Williams had an impactful game last week, catching four passes for 66 yards and a touchdown. With Washington's poor pass defense, which ranks among the worst in the league, analysts suggest starting Williams. The Lions typically rebound well after losses, and this could result in a big game for him. The Commanders have given up a significant number of passing yards and touchdowns, making Williams a favorable start in both Standard and PPR leagues this week.
