Vikings Roster Moves: Injuries and Adjustments Ahead of Ravens Game
Full Transcript
The Minnesota Vikings have made significant roster adjustments ahead of their Week 10 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens. According to Pro Football Talk, the team has placed cornerback Jeff Okudah on injured reserve due to a concussion he suffered in Week 8 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Okudah, who has been unable to return to play after missing last week’s game against the Detroit Lions, will now miss at least the next four games due to this move. The Vikings signed cornerback Fabian Moreau from their practice squad to fill Okudah's spot on the active roster.
Moreau is familiar with the team, having spent part of last season with the Vikings and being elevated to the active roster twice this season, including last week’s game. Additionally, the Vikings elevated running back Corey Kiner from the practice squad for the upcoming game, marking his first time on an active NFL roster.
Kiner was signed by the team in late September and adds depth to the running back position, especially with Aaron Jones dealing with a shoulder injury. The Vikings, currently sitting at 4-4, will host the 3-5 Ravens at U.S.
Bank Stadium. These roster moves reflect the Vikings' strategy to adapt to ongoing injuries and maintain competitiveness as they navigate a critical part of the season. The team’s ability to adjust and find depth in their roster will be crucial as they face the Ravens this Sunday.
