Raiders Community Engagement: Spreading Holiday Cheer to Military Members
Full Transcript
The Las Vegas Raiders have made a significant impact in the community during this holiday season by engaging with military members. Recently, reserve quarterback Aidan O'Connell, practice-squad offensive lineman Dalton Wagner, and former standout running back Darren McFadden participated in an event to support military personnel.
This event was part of USAAs Salute to Service NFL Boot Camp, held at the Raiders' facility in Henderson, Nevada. Over one hundred military members from Nellis and Creech Air Force Bases were invited to take part in an NFL-like training session.
The players led the military members through various drills and workouts that mimicked the intensity and excitement of professional football training. To add a competitive edge, those who excelled in the training earned tickets to the Raiders' Week 18 home game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
This initiative showcases the Raiders' ongoing commitment to the military community and highlights their efforts to spread holiday cheer during the festive season. The Raiders have established a strong relationship with military organizations, and events like these illustrate their dedication to supporting those who serve our country.
According to Silver and Black Pride, this event not only provided a unique experience for the military members but also strengthened the bond between the Raiders and local military bases.
