The New York Jets are facing significant uncertainty in their quarterback situation as they prepare for their Week 15 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Aaron Glenn announced on Wednesday that both Tyrod Taylor and Justin Fields would not practice due to injuries, raising questions about who will start.

Taylor, who was starting for the benched Fields, suffered a groin injury during the loss to the Miami Dolphins and was unable to continue, while Fields is dealing with a knee issue. Undrafted rookie Brady Cook stepped in for Taylor, completing 14 of 30 passes for 163 yards and two interceptions in his first significant NFL action.

Cook is expected to receive all first-team reps this week, which Glenn noted would help him build continuity with the offensive line and receivers. Additionally, the Jets have re-signed quarterback Adrian Martinez to the practice squad for depth.

The team is evaluating Taylor and Fields as they continue to deal with multiple injuries affecting their roster, with ten players, including running back Breece Hall, missing practice on Wednesday.
