Last week, Big Cat Country surveyed Jacksonville Jaguars fans regarding Josh Hines-Allen's legacy within the organization. Over half of the respondents, precisely sixty percent, believe he ranks among the sixth to twentieth best players in franchise history.

A notable quarter of fans feel that Hines-Allen deserves a place in the Pride of the Jaguars, the team's hall of fame. Since being drafted seventh overall in 2019, Hines-Allen has made a significant impact on the field, ranking sixth among all EDGE defenders with 138 quarterback hits and tenth in sacks with 57.0.

His performance has been pivotal, especially with the Jaguars' recent alignment strategies, which aim to optimize his matchups across the defensive formation. Head coach Liam Coen discussed Hines-Allen's Week 12 deployment, emphasizing the team's approach to maximizing player effectiveness against opposing offenses.

He noted, 'I think we obviously affected the quarterback more. We had six sacks, the most since 2023, with 15 quarterback hits, and five players contributed to the sack total.'
