According to NBC News, Metcalf was seen shoving a closed fist toward the fan's face, prompting significant scrutiny from the NFL regarding potential disciplinary actions. The fan, identified as Ryan Kennedy, stated he called Metcalf by his full name, which led to the interaction.

CBS Sports reported that Metcalf's actions were captured on camera, and although no penalty was imposed by officials during the game, the league is reviewing the incident for possible fines or suspension.
