The Denver Broncos are finally getting a break after an incredibly demanding schedule. During their NFL-best seven-game winning streak, they achieved seven wins in just 39 days, tying with the 1973 Miami Dolphins and the 2021 Green Bay Packers for the most wins in that span since 1935, as reported by the Elias Sports Bureau.

This stretch included a Monday Night Football game, an East Coast game, a trip to London, and four fourth-quarter comebacks. They also faced a short week with a Thursday Night Football game, where they managed to escape with a win to improve their record to eight wins and two losses.

According to Adam Schefter's tweet, the upcoming schedule provides a much-needed respite with only one game scheduled in the next 23 days. The Broncos will host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday before entering their bye week.

This break comes at a crucial time as the team has shown incredible character and resolve during their grueling stretch. Despite some ugly performances, such as the recent win over the Las Vegas Raiders, the Broncos have demonstrated their ability to win even when exhausted.

This mini bye is expected to allow the team, especially quarterback Bo Nix, to recuperate and strategize effectively for the upcoming matchup against the Chiefs. The report emphasizes that this rest period could be pivotal for the Broncos moving forward, potentially enhancing their performance in the crucial weeks ahead, particularly against a formidable opponent like Kansas City.
