In their 31-3 loss to the Chicago Bears, the Cleveland Browns' offensive line struggles were glaringly evident. According to Cleveland.com, injuries have decimated the line, leaving left guard Joel Bitonio as the only remaining starter from the lineup.

The Browns lost left tackle Dawand Jones to a season-ending injury, right tackle Jack Conklin to a concussion, and center Ethan Pocic to a ruptured Achilles. With right guard Wyatt Teller also sidelined with a calf injury, the offensive line featured Cam Robinson at left tackle, Luke Wypler at center, Teven Jenkins at right guard, and KT Leveston at right tackle.

The situation worsened when Jenkins exited the game with a shoulder injury, forcing rookie Garrett Dellinger into action after being signed from the practice squad. The Bears capitalized on this weakened line, sacking quarterback Shedeur Sanders five times and hitting him 15 times, resulting in only one first down in the first half and nine total for the game.

The rushing attack was equally ineffective, with the team averaging just 3.1 yards per carry and totaling 50 rushing yards. Bitonio expressed frustration with the injuries, noting that despite efforts to maintain fitness throughout the offseason, the team faced unprecedented challenges.

Overall, the performance of the offensive line has raised concerns about the need for a significant overhaul in the offseason to address ongoing issues.
