Jake Paul will face Anthony Joshua in an eight-round sanctioned boxing match with 10 oz. gloves on Friday, December 19, at the Kaseya Center in Miami. This will mark Joshua's first fight since his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois for the IBF heavyweight championship on September 21, 2024.

Jake Paul is coming off a 10-round unanimous decision victory over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June. The event will be streamed on Netflix starting at 8 p.m. ET, with the walkouts for the Paul vs. Joshua fight expected around 11 p.m.

ET. FanDuel's latest odds show Joshua as a -1300 favorite, meaning a bet of $1,300 would yield a profit of $100, while Paul is a +700 underdog, where a $100 bet could return $700. The over/under for total rounds is set at 2.5, with odds of -160 for the over and +118 for the under, and a bet on either fighter winning in the first 60 seconds is priced at +1000.

Joshua winning by knockout is listed at +165. Josh Nagel, a combat sports expert with over 20 years of experience, has provided insights and predictions for the fight, including a prop bet recommendation for Joshua to win by TKO/KO at -475.

Joshua has three knockout wins in his last four fights, including a second-round KO against Francis Ngannou in March 2024. Despite facing a five-inch height disadvantage and a six-inch reach disadvantage, Joshua holds a career record of 28-4 with 25 knockouts.

Paul, at 12-1 with seven knockouts, has not faced opponents of Joshua's caliber. Nagel considers Joshua the value side of this matchup, and his analysis includes multiple prop bets. New users can check out various betting promotions available for the fight, including a $200 bonus for new users at DraftKings and a $150 bonus at FanDuel for qualifying bets.
