The game peaked at 20.535 million viewers between 2:30 and 2:45 p.m. ET. This year's matchup featured both teams undefeated, and the 2023 game holds the record for the highest rating with 19.1 million viewers.

Fox also reported that its Big Noon Kickoff program achieved 4,358,000 viewers, marking its most-watched season ever, while ESPN's College GameDay averaged 3.1 million viewers and peaked at 4.5 million.
