In a thrilling college basketball matchup, No. 10 BYU staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Clemson 67-64 at the Jimmy V Classic on December 9, 2025. The Cougars were down by 22 points at halftime but rallied in the second half, led by AJ Dybantsa, who scored 28 points, nine rebounds, and six assists.

Dybantsa's remarkable performance included 22 points after halftime, and he was pivotal in assisting Keba Keita, who contributed 10 points, in the comeback effort. Robert Wright III sealed the victory with a game-winning three-pointer as time expired, finishing with 17 points.

The first half saw BYU struggle, shooting only 28.1% from the field, while Clemson closed the half with a 21-0 run, leading 43-22 at the break. Clemson’s Jestin Porter led his team with 17 points, but the Tigers faltered in the second half, shooting just 25.9% and allowing BYU to capitalize on their mistakes, ultimately leading to the largest second-half comeback in BYU's program history.
