Women's Basketball Faces Off in ACC-SEC Challenge

The Texas A&M women's basketball team is set to face Georgia Tech at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6th, inside Reed Arena, as part of the third annual ACC-SEC Challenge. This matchup is particularly exciting as it will feature the program's 'Wicked Night' event.
The first 500 children aged 12 and under will receive Wicked Witch Hats and LED Tiaras, while those aged 13 and older can obtain Wicked-themed t-shirts, all available while supplies last. Additionally, the team encourages fans to bring donations of bikes, helmets, and Academy, Visa, and Mastercard gift cards at the Schulte Roofing Fan Zone prior to the game to benefit children in the Brazos Valley.
The Aggies are led by senior point guard Jordan Nixon, who is averaging 17.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.5 steals per game. Nixon ranks seventh in the nation for assists per game and third for steals per outing.
Furthermore, Aaliyah Patty has been a standout on the boards, averaging an SEC-best 11.2 rebounds per game. Texas A&M enters this matchup with momentum, having recently won the North Shore Showcase, where they recorded double-digit victories over VCU and Colorado.
