Virginia basketball achieved a significant victory against Texas, winning 88-69 in the ACC/SEC Challenge. Freshman point guard Chance Mallory led the Cavaliers with 16 points, contributing to a strong offensive performance that saw Virginia connect on 12 three-pointers.
