Full Transcript
Music lovers are invited to the latest live fundraising gig hosted by the popular House of Quirk hair salon in Northwich. This year marks the eighth annual 'Christmas Quirkfest' event, taking place on December 7, at the Harlequin Theatre located on Queen Street.
Over the years, House of Quirk has raised thousands of pounds for various charities, and this year's proceeds will benefit the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, an organization dedicated to protecting oceans and marine wildlife.
Owner and director Tom Mann expressed gratitude for community support, stating, 'Its been great to see our customers and the local community get together for a good cause.' The salon has previously supported charities such as North West Air Ambulance, Mind, Nordoff Robbins, CALM, and Cancer Research UK.
This year's lineup includes alternative and indie musician Run Remedy, singer and guitarist Sean Mack, and singer-songwriter Daniall Lee. The event is set to start at 7 PM, with tickets priced at 19, available at the House of Quirk salon or by calling 01606 330879.
A bar will be present at the theatre, along with a tombola to enhance the festive atmosphere. Mann highlighted the importance of the Sea Shepherd's mission, stating they do 'amazing work clearing debris from the oceans and stopping illegal fishing practices.' As the holiday season approaches, House of Quirk continues to leverage its platform for charitable causes, demonstrating the role of hair salons in community engagement through such events.
