Wildlife Encounters and Chaos: Miami's Unique Incidents

In a chilling incident on December 13, 2025, a woman's body was discovered lying in the road near a business in the West Perrine area of Miami-Dade. According to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, the body was reported around 6 a.m. by 911 calls.

Ron Von Paulus, the owner of Big Rob's Tree Service, indicated that surveillance footage showed a truck stopping in the area around 5 a.m., with the driver allegedly dragging the woman's body from the trunk before fleeing the scene.

The sheriff's Homicide Bureau is currently investigating, but no cause of death has been released, and the woman has yet to be identified. The cold nature of the act has left the community in shock, with Von Paulus describing the incident as incomprehensible and inhumane.
