Tragic Domestic Shooting in Southwest Miami-Dade Leaves Two Dead

Miami-Dade deputies are investigating a domestic shooting that left two people dead in southwest Miami-Dade. The incident occurred in the 17000 block of Southwest 153rd Court. Responding to a 911 call about a person hurt, deputies discovered a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds at the scene.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue pronounced them dead shortly after arrival. The 911 call was received around 1 p.m. on December 6, 2025. Authorities have not released details regarding the shooter or the events leading up to the shooting.

Homicide detectives are looking into the possibility that the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. The investigation is ongoing and in the early stages, as stated by Detective Samantha Choon, a spokeswoman for the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.
