The Dolphins showcased a strong running game with DeVon Achane rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game due to a rib injury. Jaylen Wright stepped up with a career-high 107 yards and a touchdown.

The Dolphins' defense also shone, allowing just 62 rushing yards and recording six sacks, with Zach Sieler contributing 2.5 sacks himself, according to the Miami Herald. The Jets struggled offensively, with both Tyrod Taylor and rookie Brady Cook combining for a mere 154 passing yards and two interceptions.

Their only touchdown came from Isaiah Williams' 78-yard punt return. This defeat eliminated the Jets from playoff contention for the 15th consecutive year. The Dolphins, now 6-7, are looking ahead to their next game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Jets will face the Jacksonville Jaguars next week.
