Michelle Ritter, a 31-year-old tech entrepreneur and former mistress of Eric Schmidt, the 70-year-old ex-Google CEO, has leveled serious allegations against him in a Los Angeles County Superior Court filing.

According to the New York Post, Ritter accuses Schmidt of rape, surveillance, and various forms of abuse during their relationship which began in 2020. The court documents reveal that she alleges Schmidt raped her on a yacht in November 2021, forcefully slamming her against a wall in a shower while ignoring her pleas to stop.

Additionally, she claims Schmidt initiated sex while she was asleep at the Burning Man festival in August 2023. Ritter's legal action includes charges of sexual battery, harassment, domestic violence, and violations of computer hacking and wiretapping laws.

She describes a disturbing pattern of control involving a digital surveillance system Schmidt allegedly put in place, which allowed him to monitor her texts, emails, and documents. The lawsuit claims Schmidt installed spyware on her computer in November 2021 and even confessed to creating a backdoor to Google servers for accessing private information, extending beyond Ritter to other targeted employees.

The couple's tumultuous relationship was marred by accusations of unwanted voyeurism, with Ritter alleging that Schmidt photographed her while she was nude, including entering the bathroom to take pictures while she was showering.

Ritter also recounts physical abuse, stating that Schmidt shoved her multiple times, leaving bruises and scratches, and screamed inches from her face in intimidating displays. Pressured to maintain a certain appearance, she claims Schmidt urged her to appear 'really hot and sexy' at business meetings and mocked her for looking emaciated after recommending prescription stimulants for weight loss.

Following their breakup, which allegedly occurred after Schmidt was seen with a 22-year-old woman in early 2024, Ritter claims the surveillance escalated, including an incident where Schmidt broke into her Tesla and stole her laptop while she dined at a restaurant.

Schmidt's attorney, Patricia Glaser, vehemently denies these allegations, describing them as false and defamatory. Meanwhile, Ritter's lawyer, Skip Miller, argues that the lawsuit seeks justice for a young woman who was allegedly taken advantage of and abused by a powerful tech billionaire.

The court filing also highlights the business dealings between Schmidt and Ritter, including a shared startup incubator, Steel Perlot, in which Schmidt invested $100 million. Ritter claims Schmidt employed accounting tactics to burden the company with debt and removed her from another firm, Knox, stripping her of control over their shared business ventures.

The unfolding events could have serious implications for Schmidt's reputation and influence in political and philanthropic circles, especially given his status as a major Democrat mega-donor.
