The Falcon 9 rocket used for this mission was booster number 1088, which completed its 12th flight and landed back on the drone ship 'Of Course I Still Love You' in the Pacific Ocean, making it the 545th booster landing for SpaceX.
Additionally, SpaceX faced weather challenges that delayed the launch of their 3,000th Starlink satellite initially scheduled for December 7, but a backup launch opportunity was set for December 8 with improved weather conditions predicted.
The Falcon 9 booster involved in this milestone mission, tail number B1067, aims to achieve certification for up to 40 missions, showcasing SpaceX's commitment to reusability as they expand their satellite network to enhance global broadband internet coverage.
