Complete Well-Care Source, a provider of mental health, behavioral health, and home healthcare services, has announced a significant expansion in Rowan County. The company will invest $14.5 million to build a new 30,000-square-foot treatment facility and corporate headquarters at 1230 Long Ferry Road in Spencer.

This expansion is expected to create 501 new jobs over the next five years, with 125 positions available in the first two years. Currently, Complete Well-Care Source employs 48 full-time workers across North Carolina.

The new facility is set to begin operations in 2027. Owner Myra V. Wilson stated that this project is vital for delivering services to underserved communities in North Carolina. Spencer Mayor Jonathan Williams highlighted the project's dual impact, emphasizing its potential to create skilled jobs and enhance access to essential outpatient mental health and substance abuse services.

Rowan County Board of Commissioners Chair Greg Edds noted the life-saving opportunities the facility presents, indicating pride in the community's investment in improved health outcomes. The expansion was announced by the Rowan EDC, with President Rod Crider expressing gratitude for Complete Well-Care Source's continued investment in the area.
