A three-year-old girl in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, China, has gained national attention due to her striking Caucasian features, including blonde hair and blue eyes, despite her parents being Chinese.

According to Haibao News, her parents, surnamed Yang, were initially confused about their daughter's appearance, even suspecting a hospital mix-up at her birth in May 2022. However, DNA tests confirmed that Guojiang, nicknamed meaning jam, is indeed their biological child.

Upon researching their family history, they discovered that Guojiang's paternal great-grandfather was Russian, who married a woman from Henan province and lived in China until his death in 1985. Yang explained that all previous births in his family resulted in male offspring, and the recessive genes affecting appearance seem to be inactive in males.

Interestingly, while Guojiang initially resembled a typical Chinese infant at birth, her unique features began to emerge when she turned eight months old. Her story has captured significant attention on social media, amassing 120 million views.
