Full Transcript
The 215 Beltway trail is undergoing significant upgrades in the Las Vegas Valley through an $18.6 million project. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, construction began on November 3, 2025, with work being carried out at Charleston Boulevard and Peace Way.
The project will enhance safety with an undercrossing at Charleston and extend the multipurpose trail between Peace Way and Fort Apache, improving trail continuity. Additionally, the Oakland Athletics are on track to open their new $2 billion stadium in Las Vegas before the 2028 season.
As reported by ESPN, the A's have begun the concrete phase of construction and are utilizing the same contractor that built Allegiant Stadium. Public funding of up to $380 million has been approved by Nevada and Clark County for the stadium, which is set to include a 33,000-person capacity domed venue.
The A's are also actively engaging with the local community, supporting youth baseball and softball teams in the area.
