Las Vegas police released body camera footage from a deadly 12-vehicle crash that occurred on November 18, 2025, on West Cheyenne Avenue near North Jones Boulevard. The footage was made public shortly after the Las Vegas Review-Journal questioned the department's earlier refusal to disclose the recordings.
The crash resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including 20-year-old Adilene Duran Rincon, who was pregnant, and 38-year-old Edward Garcia. The driver involved, 19-year-old Jose Gutierrez, suffered minor injuries and has been charged with two counts of open murder, as well as attempted murder, reckless driving, and battery with a deadly weapon.
In addition to Rincon and Garcia, two others, Jose Pena-Dominguez and his passenger, Vanessa Lainez Vasquez, were critically injured, with Vasquez later succumbing to her injuries. Footage shows officers discussing the tragic scene, including victims' conditions, with one officer estimating that Gutierrez was likely the cause of the collision.
As of now, it remains uncertain if Gutierrez will face a third murder charge following Vasquez's death. Contact Akiya Dillon at [email protected] for further details.
