In June 2022, gas prices reached an all-time high nationally, averaging four dollars and ninety-three cents per gallon, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Russia's invasion of Ukraine, and a slowdown in oil production.
The report highlights that while the price of gasoline tends to decrease in winter months, drivers can still find ways to save money at the pump. Cheap Insurance has compiled a list of the cheapest gas stations in the Las Vegas area based on data from Gas Buddy.
Leading the list is Sam's Club located at 2658 East Craig Road in North Las Vegas, where the price per gallon is three dollars and four cents. Following closely is Costco at 222 South Martin Luther King Boulevard in Las Vegas, with a price of three dollars and nine cents.
Another Sam's Club at 8080 West Tropical Parkway offers gas for three dollars and eleven cents. Several locations of Murphy Express are tied at three dollars and fourteen cents per gallon, including 6009 West Craig Road, 3742 West Ann Road, 1970 West Craig Road, and 6035 Losee Road in North Las Vegas.
Costco also has a location at 6555 North Decatur Boulevard, also offering gas at three dollars and fourteen cents. ARCO at 7212 South Jones Boulevard is selling gas for three dollars and fifteen cents, while VP Racing Fuels at 4747 North Rancho Drive lists gas for three dollars and twenty-four cents.
