Las Vegas developer Ali Kaveh has received approval from Clark County commissioners for a new retail complex called Jade Promenade, set to be constructed in the Chinatown area. The shopping center will be located along the north side of Spring Mountain Road at Wynn Road, approximately one point twelve miles west of the Las Vegas Strip.

The project will encompass a 73 thousand four hundred eighty-two square foot plaza featuring six buildings, outdoor dining areas, and a playground. Kaveh estimates the development cost at around 40 million dollars.

In addition to the retail space, Kaveh plans to build a neighboring apartment complex with about 150 units, which he describes as the second phase of the project, estimated to cost 30 million dollars. The groundbreaking for Jade Promenade is anticipated to occur in the fourth quarter of 2026, with Kaveh under contract to purchase the vacant lot, currently owned by Caesars Entertainment.

The Chinatown commercial district is known for its vibrant dining and shopping options, making this new development significant for both locals and tourists. This expansion reflects Las Vegas' ongoing commitment to enhancing its entertainment offerings, vital for the local economy.

The report states that the approval of the shopping center was part of routine action items at a County Commission meeting, where it was passed without discussion alongside other measures.
