The Athletics helped kick off the launch of the Giving Machine vending machines for the holiday season by buying one of each item in the charitable vending machine. Athletics center fielder Denzel Clarke was introduced during the kickoff event at Downtown Summerlin on November 12, 2025.

Former Athletics pitcher Dallas Braden and mascot Stomper were also present, participating in the donation ceremony. The Giving Machine supports local and international charities and features two locations in Southern Nevada: one at Downtown Summerlin and the other at the District at Green Valley Ranch.

The vending machines offer 30 items that can be purchased to benefit ten local nonprofit organizations. Donors can swipe their debit or credit card on the machine to choose an item, with prices ranging from eight dollars to two hundred fifty dollars.

A special option for seven hundred seventy-seven dollars allows donors to buy one of each item available. Last year, over three hundred fifty thousand dollars was raised at the Summerlin Giving Machine, resulting in the purchase of more than eleven thousand items for local charities.

Joyce Haldeman, the Giving Machines coordinator in Nevada, highlighted the generosity of Nevadans, noting their big hearts. The local nonprofit beneficiaries include The Just One Project, Baby's Bounty, Eyecare 4 Kids, the Salvation Army, and the Tyler Robinson Foundation at Downtown Summerlin.

The District at Green Valley Ranch supports Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Foster Kinship, Future Smiles, Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, and Three Square. The Giving Machines program, established in 2017, has been a holiday staple in Las Vegas since 2019.

Clarke expressed excitement about engaging with the community before the team relocates to its future two billion dollar Strip ballpark. Braden, who has experience with team relocations, noted the intrigue and excitement surrounding this move and emphasized the importance of community involvement.

He believes that building a connection with the community is vital for the team’s success in Las Vegas.
