Construction on the Cadence Crossing casino in Henderson, set to replace the long-standing Jokers Wild casino, is progressing as planned for a mid-2026 opening, according to Boyd Gaming. This new casino will feature 450 slot machines and several food and beverage outlets, with future plans for a hotel attached to the complex.
Boyd Gaming, which also owns other properties along Boulder Highway, is making a significant $100 million capital expenditure to support this project and other renovations. Meanwhile, Caesars Entertainment is enhancing its presence in Las Vegas with plans to open a new sportsbook at Rampart Casino in Summerlin, which will be rebranded as The Resort at Summerlin after a $75 million renovation.
This Caesars Sportsbook, scheduled to launch after the Super Bowl, will include a state-of-the-art 360-degree LED video display and self-service betting kiosks. The Rampart Casino's renovation will also refresh its casino floor and dining options, aiming to elevate the overall guest experience in a community identified as underserved in terms of sports betting options.
These developments reflect ongoing investments in the Las Vegas tourism sector and a commitment to enhancing local gaming experiences.
