Trump Hosts Kennedy Center Honors with Hollywood Stars

President Donald Trump hosted the 48th Kennedy Center Honors on Sunday, welcoming a star-studded lineup of actors, country music stars, and entertainment industry leaders at the Kennedy Center Opera House in Washington, D.C.

While walking the red carpet with First Lady Melania Trump, Trump admitted he hadn't prepared much for his hosting duties, saying, 'Maybe I haven't prepared. Maybe you want to be a little bit loose.' Hollywood icons like Sylvester Stallone, George Strait, and Kelsey Grammer graced the red carpet, with Grammer praising Trump as 'extraordinary' and one of the greatest presidents ever.

Stallone, who received an honor during the event, expressed his surprise at the award, stating, 'This is the ultimate. This is completely unexpected.' He reflected on his life achievements and noted the importance of recognizing those who save lives in everyday professions.

George Strait, wearing his signature black cowboy hat, attended the event with his wife Norma. The ceremony also included the presentation of newly designed medals by Trump, featuring the Kennedy Center image created by Tiffany & Co.
