George Clooney Shifts Focus Away from Romantic Roles

Legendary actor George Clooney, age 64, has announced he is shifting his focus away from romantic roles in film. According to a report from Cleveland.com, Clooney stated, 'I’m not doing romantic films anymore,' reflecting on his decision to no longer kiss women in movies.

Citing his age and the inevitability of aging, he compared his transition to that of Paul Newman, saying, 'I’m not trying to compete with 25-year-old leading men.' Clooney discussed a conversation he had with his wife, Amal Clooney, age 47, around the time he turned 60, emphasizing the reality of aging.

He has starred in numerous romantic comedies and dramas throughout his career alongside actresses like Michelle Pfeiffer, Jennifer Lopez, Vera Farmiga, and Julia Roberts. His most recent film, titled Jay Kelly, is currently streaming on Netflix.
