Today marked the last race of the 2025 Formula One championship, and with it, the conclusion of ESPN's broadcast era in the United States. Starting next year, Apple will take over as the exclusive broadcast partner for Formula One, with all races streaming as part of an Apple TV subscription.

This five-year partnership begins with the 2026 season, and the first race weekend is scheduled for March 6-8. Apple has released a new social media advertisement showcasing the F1 channel within the TV app, providing a first look at its interface.

The streaming service will include comprehensive coverage of all practice, qualifying, sprint, and Grand Prix sessions at no extra charge to Apple TV subscribers. Notably, the platform will feature onboard driver cams, a feature previously available only through a subscription to F1.TV, enhancing the viewing experience for fans.

The new service will support Multiview, allowing viewers to watch multiple perspectives simultaneously, compatible with Apple TV set-top boxes, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro. Fans will still have the option to sign into the F1.TV website or apps using their Apple TV account, continuing their access to the sport without an additional subscription fee.

Currently, Apple TV is priced at $12.99 per month or $99 annually, with bundled discounts available through Apple One.
